Olly is a freelance film editor based in Lisbon, working remotely with advertising agencies since 2010. He cuts commercials, content, narrative alongside mood films that he researches, edits and sound designs for quick turn around agency pitches.
Agency credits include Sport Five, VCCP, Pablo, Leagas Delaney and W+K; brands include F1, Adidas, Mizuno, RNLI, MSC, Roblox and Tiffany. He also directs award-winning short films (BAFTA-shortlisted This Is Vanity), and edits his own directing work.
From 2024–2026 he was Head of Content at Youmio, leading weekly film output from brand films to behind-the-scenes — and Head of Character - overseeing in-game visuals, Unreal cinematics, character pipelines and a remote production team — before returning to freelance editing full-time.
He's also hands-on with AI across the production stack: assisted edit and research workflows, generative video, and the code and tooling behind them — built and used daily at Youmio, and now part of how he delivers fast agency work.
